A CHANCE TO HELP A FORMER BOARD MEMBER’S FAVORITE
CHARITY

A message from Mark Kenneth

Please consider supporting my
efforts
for the American Lung
Association
On February 20th,
I will be participating with many others as we climb up the 53 floors of Renaissance Tower in Dallas in
order to raise funds for the American Lung Association
Many of
you may not be aware, but I suffered from chronic asthma, and until the
age 14 could not climb a flight of stairs without stopping and taking an
inhaler. My parents even helped me work through two sessions in an
oxygen tent and multiple shots of “legal cortisone” for bad
attacks. At age 14, I grew out of it – it was an amazing
release, and one that I cannot explain to anyone that has not had a
bronchial attack. As you know; since then I have competed in
triathlons, adventure races, rugby teams and many other sports events
including a month long trip climbing at altitude in Nepal.
Even
being cleared - I still am very aware of our orange and red days in Texas, and can see
how even my son struggles during high pollution watch days.
Please
join me in my efforts to make a difference in the air we all breathe!
Your
donation to the American Lung Association can help make an impact by
funding life saving research, education and advocacy efforts.

Please
see the attached link to consider making a tax free charitable donation
to this cause – alternatively – why not join my team and
climb and raise funds with me?
Thank
you in consideration.
