NebuAd Expands Into UK

LinkedIn, the professional networking website, will open its first office outside the US next week, using a new base in London to boost its presence in Europe.The website, which has 18m worldwide users, has appointed Kevin Eyres as European MD and is looking to recruit a team of five or six to join him in LinkedIn's Marylebone office. The group said its decision to open an office in London follows the European markets "massive" contribution to strong global growth last year. London is now LinkedIn's largest market outside the US - claiming a fifth of its 5m European users.

GoQuo Expands into US market
Travel technology provider GoQuo is to follow a number of other UK outfits by launching operations in the US. The London-based dynamic packaging specialist has opened offices in New York and Silicon Valley, California, as it looks to grow its existing North American client base. The New York office will concentrate on sales and marketing and Silicon Valley will handle customer support. Founder and managing director Ron Ramanan said: “Our experience with existing US customers told us it was time to establish a formal presence in the North American market, and the decision to open offices in the US was therefore an easy one.”
