It was a chilly
evening that turned cold as the players came on to the pitch. AC Milan looked very sharp in their red
and black uniforms, but at the end of the day they were unable to overpower
Man City.
For the British and American fans the announcements
were made in English and for the Italian fans who came to support their
team, the announcements were made in Italian.

Before the game began the national anthems were
played. It has been almost a year since the last time God Save
the Queen was sung by the crowd at Pizza Hut Park in
Frisco.
Building
on this year’s success, the current BACA President promised that
next year we will do all in our power to get a larger area to
accommodate all our members who are interested in this event.

EURO COCKTAIL APRIL 1, 2009
|
The April 1st Euro Cocktail at Azure was a
resounding success.
The BACA contingent there assembled took the opportunity to
honor the immediate past president of BACA, Byron Cain. Mr. Cain was presented with a
specially inscribed world globe by interim president, Jonathan
Goldwater for his may years of service to BACA. Representatives of the Finnish,
French, German, Italian and Swedish Chambers joined BACA members and
all those in attendance to applaud Mr. Cain.
